1st
Place: Rocket Spanish
Rocket Spanish is by far the
best value for the money. If you look around, most
Spanish courses are selling from $199.95 to $345.00 per volume. And you usually need at
least 2 volumes - so you're looking at anywhere from $400.00
to $690.00 (or even more) for a complete course.
With Rocket Spanish, you get a full-blown
"Learn How to Speak, Read & Write Spanish" course,
complete with 12 hours of interactive audio lessons, 414 exercises & activities, plus some ultra-cool
interactive software games (nobody else has anything like this)!
Rocket Spanish makes learning so simple...even a 12 year-old can go
from beginner to advanced in under 3 months - no joke!
Rocket Spanish makes learning fun!
Right now, you can get the entire course for only $99.95 as part of an
initial market test (this is a brand new product). After that, the price
will go up to $199.95 (which is still a good deal when compared to
other courses available).

#2:
Rosetta Stone
Rosetta
Stone Spanish is another great Spanish language system, although
it doesn't stack up to Rocket Spanish for one main
reason...price.
With
Rosetta Stone, you'll need to purchase 3 volumes if you want to
maximize your learning. Volume one sells for $209.00,
volume 2 sells for $239.00 and volume three sells for $259.00.
However,
if you do decide to go with Rosetta Stone, you would be better
off purchasing the bundled package (volumes 1-3) for $499.00.
Level
one includes: 92 lessons with over 200 hours of instruction.
Level
two includes: 118 lessons with over 4,500 real-life images &
phrases (over 250 hours of study material).
Level
three includes: 12 units of instructional material and 102
lessons with videos.
Despite
it's higher price, Rosetta Stone does offer a good introduction
to understanding the Spanish language.

Pick: Learning Spanish Like Crazy
Learning Spanish Like
Crazy is also an excellent Spanish language product, although it is
strictly audio-based. Some people may like the fact that the
entire course consists of audio, while others prefer to have other
materials (such as work books, software, games, etc.) to help them
learn.
Learning Spanish Like
Crazy is designed to teach students in the "beginner" to
the "intermediate" level.
Currently, Learning
Spanish Like Crazy only offers one level of learning for $97.
This consists of 15 audio CDs and 30 lessons. You can also
purchase a "Platinum Package", which consists of 48 CDs
for $347.

#4
Pick: FSI Programmatic Spanish
FSI Programmatic Spanish
is another good "Learn Spanish" product, although it is
also consists solely of audio lessons.
Again, some people like
the idea of just listening to an audio CD to learn. However, I
think that these types of programs fall short of those that offer
other materials (such as software workbooks & games) in addition
to audio. This is because most people simply need to see &
hear in order to effectively learn a new language (not just hear).
FSI Price: $97
What's Included: 17
hours of audio lessons in MP3 format (downloadable)
